  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
  • 8 slices cubed white bread

    Wash and pare firm potatoes.

    Cut in eighths, lengthwise. Cover with cold water.

    Let stand at least 30 minutes.

    Drain.
