  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1/2 cups Flour
  • 6 cups Milk
  • 3/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 4 Large Baking Potatoes, Baked, Peeled And Diced
  • 8 ounces, weight Sour Cream
  • 1-1/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 8 strips Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled
  • Chives

Directions

    Melt butter in a large kettle. Add flour and stir to make a paste. Add milk, stirring constantly until well blended. Add salt, pepper and potatoes.

    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Turn to low and simmer 10 minutes. Add sour cream and heat through.

    Garnish with cheese, bacon and chives.
