  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans red kidney beans with liquid

    Dice bacon and fry until crisp; drain off grease.

    Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender.
