  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2/3 cup minute rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Set oven to 350 degrees F. Place ingredients in an ungreased 1 1/2 quart round casserole.

    Set casserole in a pie pan of hot water.

    Place pans in oven for 45 minutes.

    Mixture will be set around the edge.

    Remove from oven.

    Stir gently.

    Let cool 1/2 hour without stirring.

    Serve warm or cold.
