- 1 to 3 pieces celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 to 5 lb. roast
Directions

1Brown roast on top of stove; save stock for gravy.

2Put roast in baking pan; add 2 to 3 cups water.

3Add vegetables; cover.

4Let cook 4 to 5 hours.

5Make gravy and add to meat and vegetables. Add more water if needed.
