  • 1/2 lb. Rotini Noodles
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 Green Pepper, chopped
  • 1-28 oz. Can Tomato, cut up
  • 1-6 oz. Can Tomato Paste
  • 1-4 oz. Can Sliced Mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 Tsp. Oregano Leaves
  • 1/4 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, grated

Directions

    Boil noodles until tender; drain.

    In large skillet, cook beef, onion and green pepper; drain excess fat.

    Add tomatoes, paste, mushrooms and seasonings.

    Simmer on low heat 20 minutes. Combine cooked noodles and sauce; layer 1/2 into

    3 quart baking dish.

    Top with 1 cup cheese.

    Layer remaining rotini mixture and top with remaining mozzarella.
