Baked Spaghetti

  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/4 c. grated Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. thin spaghetti

Directions

    Saute onions in hot oil until tender.

    Add beef and cook until redness disappears.

    Stir in salt, pepper, tomatoes, chiil powder, garlic salt and water.

    Simmer 30 minutes.

    Heat oven to 325°. Break half of uncooked spaghetti into 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour on half of sauce, sprinkle with half of cheese and break in rest of spaghetti.

    Add rest of sauce and cheese.

    Bake, covered, for 35 minutes.

    Uncover and bake additional 15 minutes.
