Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomato, cut up
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked
  • 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown beef, garlic and onion. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano, salt and basil. Bring to a boil.

    Boil, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes. Stir often. Remove from heat; add spaghetti. Put 1/2 mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle with all of Mozzarella cheese. Put rest of spaghetti mix on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
