  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 12 oz. pkg. spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 can sliced ripe olives
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender; add tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and oregano.

    Add ground beef.

    Place half of cooked spaghetti in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Top with half of vegetable mixture.

    Sprinkle 1 cup Cheddar cheese over this.

    Repeat layers.

    Mix soup and water until smooth.

    Pour over casserole.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.
