Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. Burgundy wine
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- dash of garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti, broken in 2-inch lengths
- 1 c. or 1/4 lb. processed Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Saute onion and beef in salad oil until brown.

2Add tomato sauce and mix.

3Add spices from wine through pepper.

4Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

5Cook and drain spaghetti.

6Add to sauce with 1/2 cheese.

7Place in a 3-quart casserole dish and store in the refrigerator.

8When ready for use, set oven at 375°. Put remaining cheese over dish and bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Reduce heat to 300° and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

9Serves 6.
