- 2 to 3 squash, sliced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. diced onion
- 2/3 c. shredded Cheddar or American cheese
Directions

1Cook squash in salt water, drain.

2Combine all other ingredients, add cooked squash to this mixture.

3Place in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

4Top with cracker or bread crumbs, if you wish.

5Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
