Baked Squash

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 squash, sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. diced onion
  • 2/3 c. shredded Cheddar or American cheese

Directions

    Cook squash in salt water, drain.

    Combine all other ingredients, add cooked squash to this mixture.

    Place in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

    Top with cracker or bread crumbs, if you wish.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
