Baked Steak

  • 1 1/2 lb. tenderized round steak
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup or 1 pkg. dried Lipton beefy onion soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms

Directions

    Cut steak into serving pieces and brown in skillet with small amount of oil.

    Transfer steak to baking dish.

    Mix water and soup together. Pour over steak; add mushrooms.

    Bake at 400° for one hour or until meat is tender.

    Great served with mashed potatoes or rice.
