Ingredients

  • 2 lb. raw beef cubes
  • chunks of carrots, potatoes, onion and celery
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or 1 can beef bouillon
  • 1 can water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. tapioca
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Arrange beef cubes in single layer; do not brown.

    Place vegetables on top, then sauce, water and sugar.

    Scatter tapioca over top and seal with foil.

    May either bake 1 1/2 hours at 325° or 8 to 10 hours at 200°.
