- 2 lb. raw beef cubes
- chunks of carrots, potatoes, onion and celery
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or 1 can beef bouillon
- 1 can water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. tapioca
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Arrange beef cubes in single layer; do not brown.

2Place vegetables on top, then sauce, water and sugar.

3Scatter tapioca over top and seal with foil.

4May either bake 1 1/2 hours at 325° or 8 to 10 hours at 200°.
