  • 1 turkey (any size)
  • 3 stalks celery
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large whole onion
  • 1 large whole apple

    Preheat oven to 475° (very hot) about 9 p.m. the night before you are planning your meal.

    Place turkey in a covered roaster pan with the onion, apple, celery and 1 quart warm water.

    Bake 1 hour.

    Turn off oven but do not open oven door.

    Leave all night. Your turkey will be golden brown with broth for dressing and gravy.

    Tenderest turkey ever.
