- 3 c. flour
- 1/4 c. instant nonfat dry milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cold butter, cut in chunks
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Mix all ingredients except buttermilk in food processor or mixer.

2Add buttermilk, forming dough.

3Roll dough on floured area, not too thin.

4Cut with biscuit cutter.

5Bake at 400° for 13 to 15 minutes.

6Biscuits can be frozen.

7Put on tray overnight or until hard.

8Place in plastic bag and freeze.

9Use as needed. Bake frozen biscuits at 400° for 15 to 18 minutes.
