- 4 1/2 c. walnuts (16 oz.) finely chopped
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 lb. phyllo (strudel leaves)
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. honey
Directions

1Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.

2Preheat oven to 300°.

3In large bowl mix walnuts, sugar and cinnamon.

4In pan, place 1 sheet of phyllo, allowing it to extend up sides; brush with butter.

5Repeat to make 5 layers.

6Sprinkle with 1 cup nut mixture.

7Cut remaining phyllo into approximately 13 x 9-inch rectangles.

8Place a sheet of phyllo in pan; brush with butter.

9Repeat to make 6 layers, overlapping phyllo if necessary to make rectangle.

10Top with 1 cup nut mixture. Repeat.

11End with phyllo on top.

12Trim overhang.

13Using a sharp knife cut halfway through all layers in a diamond pattern to make 24 servings.

14Bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until top is brown.
