Balsamic BBQ Chicken

  • 4 whole Chicken Breasts, Bone In
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 2 cups Balsamic Vinegar (Or Enough To Cover Chicken In The Pot)
  • 2 Tablespoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1- 1/2 cup Sugar

    In a pot large enough to hold all the chicken, melt the butter.

    Add vinegar, red pepper flakes, and sugar.

    Bring to a boil and combine so all the sugar melts.

    Reduce to medium-low heat.

    Rinse chicken breasts, pat dry and add to the vinegar.

    Be sure there is enough liquid to almost completely submerge the chicken.

    Cover and let slowly simmer for 45 minutes to allow the vinegar/sugar/butter to absorb into the chicken.

    You can tell its done when the meat is falling off the bone.

    This recipe can also be achieved in a slow cooker on medium heat.
