Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. finely chopped nuts
  • 1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3 medium)

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pans.

    Measure all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.

    Beat on medium speed 1/2 minute, scraping sides and bottom of bowl constantly.

    Pour into pan(s).

    Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly before slicing.
