- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 to 3 bananas
Directions

1Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

2Beat sugar and shortening until fluffy.

3Add eggs, beat, then repeat.

4Mash bananas to measure 1 cup.

5Add flour mixture and bananas alternately.

6Mix at low speed to blend.

7Pour into greased and floured pans.

8Push batter into corners.

9Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
