Banana Cake-Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • about 1/2 box vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. frozen whipped topping
  • 2 or 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding (prepare as directed on box)
  • additional whipped topping

Directions

    Combine flour and melted margarine.

    Press into 9 x 13-inch dish or pan and bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

    Cool completely. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup whipped topping. Spread over pastry in pan.

    Add a layer of 2 or 3 bananas, sliced. Top with prepared instant pudding.

    Sprinkle on the 1/2 box of crushed vanilla wafers.

    Top with whipped topping.

    Chill.
