- 6 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 6 Tbsp. oleo or butter
- 6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. water or broth
- 3 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
- 1 1/2 c. cooked, frozen vegetables, drained
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
Directions

1Cook onion in butter until tender, but not brown.

2Blend in flour, salt and pepper.

3Add milk and broth.

4Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

5Stir in chicken, vegetables and parsley. Heat until bubbly.

6Pour into oblong casserole or 6 or 8 individual casseroles.

7Top with canned biscuits, cut into fourths (better with a recipe of real biscuits, cut in tiny rounds). Serves 6 or 8 generously.
