Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lb. green bananas
- 1 coconut (grind)
- 4 to 6 c. water
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt (optional)
- 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder or 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1/4 green or red fresh bell pepper
- 1 to 2 lb. fish (your choice, optional)
Directions

1Combine coconut milk (grind coconut and water together and strain), salt, garlic and pepper in a large pot.

2Bring to a boil to get soup-like mixture.

3Peel green bananas and dip into boiling soup (above).

4Cut up the fish of your choice (i.e. snapper) and also dip into mixture.

5Let bananas (and fish) get tender (test with fork).

6Serve hot.
