Banana Nut Bread

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 large or 4 small bananas (very ripe)
  • 2 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter, eggs and sugar together.

    Sift flour, salt and soda together.

    Mash very ripe bananas and add to creamed butter, eggs and sugar mixture, then add flour mix, pecans and vanilla. Bake in tube pan, greased with butter.

    Bake at 325° to 350° until brown, about 1 hour.
