- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 whole eggs, separated
- 2 c. whole milk
- 2 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 4 to 5 medium bananas
- vanilla wafers
Directions

1Blend sugar and flour in medium bowl.

2Separate eggs and set whites aside.

3With a fork beat yolks and add to sugar.

4Add vanilla.

5Add milk in small amounts until all is blended in.

6Cook in nonstick skillet on medium heat until thickened.

7Remove from heat.

8Put a layer of mix in bottom of 2-quart baking dish, add layer of vanilla wafers then layer of bananas.

9Repeat until dish is almost full ending with layer of mix.

10Add meringue and bake at 425° until meringue is brown.
