  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 14 cup diced smoked bacon
  • 3 cups quartered button mushrooms
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup

Directions

    In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.

    Add bacon and cook, stirring often, until fat is slightly rendered.

    Add mushrooms, rosemary and salt and cook, stirring often until mushrooms are soft.

    Add vinegar and agave syrup and bring to a simmer.

    Boil until liquid is evaporated, about 8 minutes.

    Let cool to room temperature.

    Discard rosemary sprig.
