Banana Split Cake

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 bananas
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix 1 stick of the margarine with the cracker crumbs.

    Press into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Beat remaining 2 sticks of margarine, eggs and confectioners sugar for 15 minutes.

    (It must be beaten for 15 minutes.)

    Spread over cracker crumbs.

    Slice bananas over this mixture, then put pineapple which has been drained in a colander over bananas.

    Top with Cool Whip.

    Sprinkle with pecans and garnish with cherries.

    Chill before serving. Delicious.
