- 4 to 5 lb. boneless chuck roast
- 4 medium sized potatoes
- 8 large carrots
- 1/4 c. water
- seasonings to suit taste (any good steak sauce or seasoned soy sauce)
Directions

1Place roast in large ceramic oven dish that can be covered. Top with seasonings.

2Wash potatoes, cut in half lengthwise and place around roast, cut side up.

3Clean carrots, cut in half lengthwise and place around roast and potatoes.

4Add water.

5Cover and place in 250° oven for 3 to 4 hours.
