- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Blend in ginger and 1 tablespoon sugar; let stand in warm place until mixture begins to bubble.

3Using an electric mixer, stir in remaining 2 tablespoons sugar, milk, salt, oil and 3 cups flour.

4Blend in remaining cup of flour with spoon; knead on floured surface. Place dough in 2 well-greased one-pound coffee cans.

5Place plastic lids on cans; let dough rise until lids are pushed off. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.

6Delicious frozen and reheated.
