- 5 lb. brisket, chuck or pork butt
- 4 medium onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 4 c. catsup
- 3/4 c. Worcestershire
- 4 c. water
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1In Dutch oven, saute onions and garlic until golden.

2Add brown sugar and cook until caramelized.

3Add other ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.

4Add meat.

5Bake, covered, for 5 or 6 hours at 325°.

6Uncover last half hour.

7Remove from oven and shred meat with 2 forks and return to sauce.

8Can be frozen.
