Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lb. roast (pork or beef)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. tomato catsup
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper

Directions

    Wash roast and pat dry with paper towel.

    Place roast in crock-pot.

    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast.

    Cover and cook until done (4 to 5 hours).

    Cool slightly and shred with fork.
