  • 10 slices bacon, diced
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 3/4 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke

Directions

    Combine bacon, onion and green pepper.

    Cook over medium heat until bacon is lightly browned and onion and pepper are tender. Drain.

    Combine bacon mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well. Bake in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish, uncovered, at 425° for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly.
