- 10 to 12 slices bacon
- 2 (10 oz.) frozen lima beans, cooked and drained
- 1/2 to 3/4 can tomato soup
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- water to thin
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Fry bacon crisp.

2Remove from skillet.

3Leave 2 to 3 tablespoons bacon grease.

4Fry onion in grease.

5Add flour to thicken.

6Add tomato soup and stir.

7Add vinegar, sugar and garlic salt.

8Add enough water to make medium thick sauce.

9Crumble and add 1/2 of the bacon.

10Pour sauce over lima beans in 2-quart greased casserole.

11Mix lightly.

12Top with rest of bacon, crumbled.

13Bake about 30 minutes on 350°.

14I usually cover it until last 5 minutes.
