Barbecue Potatoes

  • 4 large thin sliced potatoes
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 1/4 lb. (12 slices) American cheese
  • 1 bay leaf

Directions

    Put layer of potatoes in baking dish, sprinkle with chopped onion and salt and pepper. Lay slices of cheese over them. Repeat.

    Mix ketchup, milk, butter and sauces together and pour over potato layers.

    Place bay leaf on top.

    Cover and bake at 350° to 375° for 1 1/2 hours.

    Remove bay leaf before serving.
