- 3 to 4 lb. spareribs (pork)
- salt
- pepper
- Schilling barbecue spice
- 1 onion
- 1 (16 oz.) bottle smoky barbecue sauce or 2 c. homemade sauce
Directions

1Sprinkle ribs with salt, pepper and Schilling barbecue spice. Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat.

2Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock-pot.

3Add onion and pour in barbecue sauce.

4Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
