Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. country style ribs
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Simmer ribs in water to cover in a large kettle for 30 minutes. Drain and arrange in a shallow nonmetal dish.

    Combine sugar, mustard, salt, pepper, ginger, tomato sauce, orange juice, onion, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.

    Let stand 15 minutes.

    Pour over ribs, turning ribs to coat.

    Marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours.

    Grill 6-inches from coals, 10 to 15 minutes, basting occasionally with sauce.

    Turn ribs.

    Baste and cook 10 to 15 minutes more.
