Ingredients

  • 1 (3 ounce) packagejell-o salad gelatin or 1 (3 ounce) package lime Jell-O gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 12 tablespoons vinegar
  • 12 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 dash pepper
  • onion juice or Worcestershire sauce or Tabasco sauce or prepared horseradish (optional)
  • 14 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, soften

Directions

    Dissolve Jell-O Gelatin in boiling water.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Pour into individual molds or 1-quart mold.

    Chill until firm.

    Unmold on crisp greens.

    Makes about 2 1/2 cups or 5 side salads or 6 to 8 servings.
