Barbecue Salmon

Ingredients

  • salmon steaks or fillets
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar or equivalent in sugar substitute (Sweet 'N Low)
  • 4 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, but salmon, and shake well.

    Place salmon on rack in shallow pan, skin side down.

    Baste salmon with sauce 1/2 hour before broiling.

    Broil for 7 to 10 minutes until pieces just begin to flake.

    Do not overbake.
