- salmon steaks or fillets
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar or equivalent in sugar substitute (Sweet 'N Low)
- 4 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- dash of salt
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, but salmon, and shake well.

2Place salmon on rack in shallow pan, skin side down.

3Baste salmon with sauce 1/2 hour before broiling.

4Broil for 7 to 10 minutes until pieces just begin to flake.

5Do not overbake.
