Barbecue Shredded Beef

- 3 c. water
- 1 (18 oz.) bottle Hunt's barbecue sauce
- 1 c. beer
- 2 cloves, halved
- 1 (2 to 3 lb.) flank steak
Directions

1In a large Dutch oven, mix together water, 1 cup barbecue sauce, beer and garlic.

2Add meat and cook, covered, over medium heat 2 hours, or until meat is tender.

3Remove meat and shred into 2-inch strips (against grain).

4Place meat back into pan with 2 cups cooking broth and remaining barbecue sauce.

5Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.

6Serve on sandwich rolls.

7Makes 4 to 6 large sandwiches.
