Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. venison, cut in pieces
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. or more hot pepper sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 or 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 1/2 c. water (if needed)

Directions

    Soak meat overnight in salt water (1 tablespoon salt and just enough water to cover).

    Put all ingredients in slow cooker.

    Cook at low for about 10 hours.

    Serve over rice or noodles or as sandwiches.
