- 2 lb. round steak
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- vinegar to taste
Directions

1Slice steak 1/8-inch thick while partially frozen.

2Brown in hot oil; stir frequently.

3Add tomato sauce, mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, water and sliced onion.

4Cover and simmer for up to an hour, at least 30 minutes.

5For a tangier barbecue sauce, stir in a little red wine vinegar or cider vinegar to taste before pouring over rice or noodles.
