- 1 1/2 lb. Country Style spareribs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 lemon, sliced thin
- 1 c. catsup
Directions

1Cut ribs and place in shallow pan.

2Sprinkle on salt, pepper and onion.

3Roast uncovered at 450° until browned, about 20 minutes.

4Combine all other ingredients, except lemon slices; bring to boil over medium-high heat, then remove from heat. Remove meat from oven, top with lemon slices and pour on sauce. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours, basting often.
