- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 lb. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, except round steak, in a saucepan; bring to a boil.

2Simmer gently for 5 minutes.

3Pound steak (break tissues).

4Cut into serving pieces.

5Put in a large pan.

6Pour barbecued sauce over meat.

7Cover tightly and bake at 325° for 2 hours or until fork-tender.
