  • 3 lb. hamburg
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. barley
  • 1/2 c. sweet peppers
  • 1 can peas

    Fry hamburg, drain off fat.
