- 1/2 c. pearl barley
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can peas, drained
- salt and pepper
- 1 can tomato rice soup (no water)
Directions

1Soak barley covered by water 8 hours.

2Cook barley 3/4 hour or until tender.

3Brown ground beef and onion.

4Mix all ingredients in a 2-quart casserole.

5Cover.

6Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
