- 1/3 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. mini marshmallows
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs and beat.

3Stir in vanilla; set aside.

4Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and nuts. Add to creamed mixture.

5Put into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes.

7Remove from oven and cover with marshmallows.

8Bake 3 more minutes.

9Cool.

10Melt peanut butter and chips; remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies.

11Spread on cooled bars.
