- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. oil
- 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Scald milk and let it cool until lukewarm.

2Soak yeast in warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar.

3Let set 5 minutes.

4Add yeast to cooled milk.

5Add 3 cups flour and beat until smooth.

6Let stand 30 minutes, then add eggs, sugar, salt and oil.

7Mix all together and add 5 to 5 1/2 cups more flour.

8Knead dough until smooth. Keep adding a little oil in bottom of pan to dough from pan.

9Let rise until doubled in bulk.
