Basic Bread Crumb Coating

Directions

   Place each ingredient in a separate shallow bowl.

   Dip the item to be coated in the flour, then the egg and lastly in the bread crumbs.

   Set the coated item on a wax paper-lined plate or sheet pan and allow to dry for 5 minutes before frying.
