- 2 oz. semisweet baking chocolate
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt chocolate in a double boiler.

2Stir in butter, then boiling water, then sugar and salt.

3Cook stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

4Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

5The sauce is best when served warm.

6Either serve immediately or reheat in double boiler for 10 minutes or microwave for 1 minute.

7To store pour into strilized glass jars.

8Allow sauce to cool before refrigerating.

9It will keep for 6 months in the refrigerator.
