  • 3 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

    Cream butter until light.

    Add sugar to butter gradually until fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
