Ingredients
- 1 (1/4 ounce) package yeast (regular or fast-acting)
- 1 13 cups warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
- 3 -3 18 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (or butter, if you prefer)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt (omit if using self-rising flour)
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes.

2Stir in 1 cup of flour, the oil (or butter), honey and 1 teaspoon salt.

3Beat until smooth.

4Stir in remaining flour, scraping dough from side of bowl, until soft dough forms.

5Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.

6Heat oven to 400 degrees.

7Divide dough in 24 equal parts.

8Roll dough into tiny balls (or form into ropes if you desire sticks.

10Brush the dough with the egg white.

11Bake for about 15 minutes.
